Here I am, reading from Failed Proposals, stammering, occasionally.

IRREVERSIBLE MEANS YOU'LL NEVER GO BACK
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ENDING
SUCH A FUK'D UP MOVIE
IS HIS EARLIER WORK INTERESTING?
ENTER THE VOID HAS STUCK WITH ME.
TOMORROW I'M READING AND I'M SICK AS A DOG.
LAYING AROUND IN BED AND DRINKING GINGER TEA IS THE BEST.
DECLARATIVE SENTENCES ABOUND.

5x FAST
i am writing one of the strangest things i've ever written.
the last time i said that it was accepted and will become its own chapbook and that will be out in the future.
this time i'm saying this i'm not so sure what's going to happen to it. parts of it have been turned into online journals and one part was rejected and i think i might pull back on the other part. there's something about its cohesive effect that works way way more than alone. and. and i also think i would rather see it on paper. somethings i don't mind really to be lasered into eyes on screens but this somehow feels very physical. saying turned into online journals makes me feel like homework which makes me feel icky. sorry online journals. i still read you all the time. i swear.
see, i have this problem. i like complicated things. i like absurd things. these make the hairs on my arm stand on end and even sometimes give me a feeling like a warm hug. a warm hug in a book makes me think of ice cubes melting in a glass with a lot of imperfections in the sun. this isn't very interesting to me. i'm sorry.
i like the phrase 'keep it simple, st00pid.' and i do try to keep it simple. really, i swear, i do. but then certain ramifications always take me somewhere else and i love those ramifications as much as everything else. i do.
yesterday's mantra was: doorbell, doorbell, doorbell, doorbell.
today's mantra is: gertrude stein wrote 'a novel of thank you' too.
knowhati'msayin'?
oh doncha know.
i'm reading gombrowicz' 'cosmos' and it's very, very satisfying and painfully tedious at turns. something something something zen something ying something yang something something.
another mantra: pfaueninselspargelschnitzelmitgeweih.
say it.
you'll never go back.
